MAN WHO TOLD PARLIAMENT BLAIR LIED ABOUT WMD’S BELIEVED TO BE DEAD

Dead Body Found In England Thought To Be That Of Weapons Advisor Who Just Testified Against Blair And Likely Leaked Info. To BBC About Blair’s Lying

UPDATE - JULY 19, 2003:

The body, found 5 miles from Kelly's home, is confirmed to be David Kelly.  The speculation now asserts it is either suicide, heart attack, or stroke.

Have you ever heard of someone walking out into the woods to have a heart attack or stroke?  It usually just sort of happens.

It is one of three things:  1)  He walked out alone to go commit suicide; 2) He walked out alone and a very coincidental accident, crime, or health problem occurred; 3) Someone had said they wanted to talk to him, suggested they could only talk privately if he met them out in the woods near his home, and when he went out to talk the person, he was killed.

Could be any of these.  All we know for certain is that the major news sources only care about Kobe right now.  The possible biggest story of our time, we expect, will be pushed out of the way quickly by the ridiculous, corporate-owned mainstream press.

JULY 18, 2003 -  When Oliver Stone’s movie JFK came out, it was assailed.  The movie asserted that lots of the people who knew something about JFK’s murder were showing up dead, and inferred that US intelligence agencies – or somebody trying to cover up the truth behind the assassination – were responsible.

Now, we have the same situation in our lifetime.  David Kelly, British Ministry of Defense weapons advisor, who was forced to testify before the British Parliament just Tuesday after admitting he had talked with the BBC, seems to be dead.

Unlike the other news sources, we will give you the straight scoop of what this means.  While MSNBC, CBS, and others will have to tread lightly on this subject for fear of putting 2 and 2 together and so showing the public ugly truth, we have no such fears at The Moderate Independent.

We do not know, as authorities don’t at this point, what the cause of death was for Mr. Kelley.

On the other hand, the are certain things that are very obvious.

 1)  He was at ground zero of the biggest controversy to hit England (and America) in our lifetimes – a controversy that, if it turns out the President and Prime Minister lied to bring us to war, would make Watergate seem like a silly, irrelevant child’s game.  We have a soldier dying every day, and the reality may be we were tricked into allowing these men and women to be sent to their deaths for the wrong reasons.

 2)  The British Parliament called him just three days before his death to testify because they believe he was the one who had leaked information to the BBC asserting that Prime Minister Blair purposefully mislead the British people about WMDs.

 3)  His job was to know and advise Blair about WMDs, so he would be exactly in the position to know if Blair lied, exaggerated, or misled.

 4)  Here is where it gets ugly.  Already, there are allusions all over the press that it very possibly is a suicide.  This pressure from this short stint of press notoriety, they are saying, drove this man to walk out of his house, stroll for five minutes out into the woods, and kill himself.  Remember, not a single fact has been gathered, not a single thing examined, and it is not even certain the body is his, but already the stories are showing up in the press worldwide inferring that suicide is most likely.

MSNBC reports: “(His wife) didn’t use the word depressed, but she said he was very, very stressed and unhappy about what had happened and this was really not the kind of world he wanted to live in,” (TV Journalist Tom) Mangold said.”

You can see the implication in this – subtle, but effective.

MSNBC continues:  “Dr. Kelly is a scientist. He’s not used to the media glare, he is not used to the intense spotlight he was put under, and frankly, even hardened professionals can find that type of pressure hard to cope with,” committee member Richard Ottoway, an opposition Conservative politician told Sky television.”

Now you have two people asserting very possible suicide.  For all they know, there are fifty ice pick wounds in the man’s back – but before they even wait for the details, they begin to imply suicide from a few weeks of media pressure.  They seem to be pretty certain whatever wounds or cause of death will appear will allow the possibility of suicide.  They also seem overly eager to say a mentally healthy man can suddenly go from happy to killing himself due to just a short period of being stuck out in the press.

MSNBC continues:  “In Britain, media reports were concentrating Friday on disappeared weapons expert Kelly’s clear discomfort in the spotlight. Kelly, 59, had told the parliamentary foreign affairs committee he had met BBC reporter Gilligan, but denied telling him that Blair’s communications chief, Alastair Campbell, had ordered intelligence to be hyped.” link: MSNBC

Don’t get us wrong – this is not an attack on MSNBC.  All news sources are reporting the same.  Somebody is leaking a suicide story, and it is getting play worldwide, before we even know if it is Kelly who is dead, never mind the cause of death.  That reeks.

The Moderate Independent is not some ridiculous, integrity-free rag that will pretend we know something that we don’t.  We do not, any more than you do, know if this was murder, suicide, political vendetta, a woman who killed him because of an affair, a chance mugging, an accidental death – and we must repeat it is not officially confirmed that the body is Kelly’s.

What we do promise, though, is that the facts and details of this possibly too-coincidental-to-be coincidence death emerge, we will cut through all the niceties, bias, and cowardice of the main stream, Bush/Limbaugh/Murdoch owned-and-operated press and make sure you get the straight facts – and most accurate assertions – from news sources around the world, interpreted and presented in the usual straight-talking, truth-loving, pull-no-punches M/I style.

We may just be living through the biggest scandal in the history of two of the most powerful nations ever to exist, with those who have the ability to talk getting capped right before our very eyes.

 Then again, maybe not.

 Stay tuned.
