CNBC’S Licklow And Kissass Invent Economic “Miscussion”

by Betsy R. Vasquez

AUGUST 13, 2003 - Ok, we know there is nowhere you can turn on TV these days that is anything but Bush-buttkissing, right-wing propaganda, but have you seen Licklow and Kissass on CNBC lately?

They are charged with discussing the economy for this NBC-affiliated cable network.  Yes, this obviously is a desperately impossible task for these Bush drones to attempt, since every economic move the President has made has been proven a disaster, and since the President just said today from his Crawford, Texas ranch - and Bush economic advisor Snow later seconded - that he has no other ideas on how to help the economy.

While even right-wing puppet station FOX News goes through the motions of pretending to have a two-sided discussion - using, of course, a weak imbecile to represent the “left-wing” - CNBC has no shame is putting these two men up there to try and top each other in kissing Bush Republican ass.

Whether it is Kisass talking about the Schwarzenegger campaign - “Every move Arnold has made so far has been perfect.” - or Licklow talking about the current state of the economy - “This is the biggest economic acceleration this country has seen in recent history.” - they are perfect, trustworthy little right-wing ass-kissing distorters.  These two compete to top each other in how pathetically they can ‘miscuss” things to somehow make Bush and Schwarzenegger - and all Bush Republicans - seem perfect, despite all facts clearly telling otherwise.

There are only two questions:

One:  Usually when people are as ugly as these two are, they compensate for it by being intelligent, witty, or having some other redeeming value.  So who was the advisor that said to these two, “Hey, you’re ugly as hell, why don’t you try being stupid and dishonest as well?”  Honestly, what sort of advice givers did they surround themselves with who said, “Be flaming idiots - it’s a perfect compliment to your butt-faced hideousness?”

Question two: What sort of low-level, ballless pussies exist that these two - and the rest of right-wing TV and radio - have any audience at all?

If you ever need a laugh, check out Licklow and Kissass' nightly gig on CNBC - check your local listings (note:  sometimes they mistakenly list them as Ludlow and Kramer.)
