July 30, 2008  Wow, that's a lot of those Black people with that HIV virus.

What, you haven't heard?  CNN reported yet again today.  So bad in Washington DC that the rates are similar to those in... yes, Black-populated Africa.

But wait, there's more.

In fact, there's a whole series of more called "Black In America."  Oh, yeah, nothing to do with Barack running.  Nope, according to the CNN website, its just running because it's, "40 years after the death of Rev. Marting Luther King Jr."  CNN admits this sort of series is, "an unprecedented television event."

And then on both CBS  and CNN, on the day that a presidential candidate named Barack Obama gave a speech before 200,000+ people in Berlin Germany, top coverage on their websites featured... no, not the speech.

No, even with all the coverage the speech was given, it was given a side spot.  The headline spot both at CBS and CNN were feature stories about Black people in America.

And wait, what's the news today:  House apologizes for slavery, Jim Crow  Wait, that's just CNN.  Over at CBS today we learn we're apologizing to Black people for - what??? - World War II?

It's kind weird, isn't it?  In fact, so weird that an African American friend of mine asked with alarm what had happened - where did this sudden HIV epidemic come from?  Is it really that bad?

What America is witnessing at the moment is what's known in simple terms as a racist propaganda campaign against Barack Obama.

Barack Obama is a man of half-Caucasian-American, half-African descent.  In fact, not a single drop of his blood was given to him by an African American.  His lineage is not traced to slavery.  He did not suffer under Jim Crow laws.  And, quite importantly, he specifically is not running as a Black candidate.  He is running as evenly with his white half as his pigmented half.

He is not making his campaign centrally about HIV in the African American community, nor about African American life or issues at all.

Enter the corporations that own the media.  The HIV epidemic in Washington DC has existed for years - as have many other epidemics there, such as drug use, crime, etc.  And, not coincidentally, they have not received substantial coverage - never mind top billing - in the news.

By running a series such as CNN's "Black In America," by whitewashing Barack's big Berlin day with cover stories about Black Americans being riskier to sleep with than Green Monkeys; in short, but putting Black, Black, Black up there in our faces on a regular basis, the media are drumming up the latent racism within us all.  It is, while claiming to be giving air to the plight and problems of Black people, constantly putting out the most-dreaded of dreaded impressions.  You know, the idea that you hear the more openly racist among us saying - albeit not in public.  Yes, that if Barack Obama gets elected, it is going to be about the Black people being in charge.  That he will govern for Black people.  And that we better remember just how lowly, problematic, and diseased these Black creatures are.

Oh yeah, and look now, they still are bringing up Jim Crow and slavery. And World War II we have to apologize for something. See, if Barack gets in office, he'll be given them all more reparations, this time $20 million each and 2 mules.

It's disgusting.  It's racist.  And, without question, it will be effective in scaring a number of voters away from considering Barack Obama for President.

As we head toward Election Day, watch the racist campaign to scare white people away from voting for Obama play out daily from your favorite non-Moderate Independent new source.
