The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire. We
don't need no water let the mother f'er burn. Burn mother f'er,
burn
No I'm not joking. Yes, it was just a song.
But I mean it. It's just a penthouse fire - the rest of the
building's been blazing for years. Now the penthouse finally
caught? Who gives a rat's ass. Let the money-worshipping
mother f'ers burn.
And all this talk about "keeping people in their
homes" from both sides of the aisle. Excuse me? Keep
people who bought homes they can't afford in their homes?
Let me tell you something: I'm still renting.
For a decade I haven't been able to afford a house because idiots
have been buying houses at prices no one can afford with mortgages
they knew they couldn't pay. They'd hoped to make a profit.
And so I sat in my damned rental waiting for the market to shake
them out, so finally, finally, I could buy a damned house.
But now you're going to take my f'ing money via this
tax-funded bailout and - wait, let me make sure I have this - make
me pay to keep prices of housing artificially high so I won't ever
be able to buy a house? Even better, you want me to give money
to help those idiots who took my house with their oversized,
unaffordable bid - you want me to pay so they can stay in there
while I remain out in noisy neighborland?
I guess the lesson is I should have been a friggin'
idiot and took out a loan I couldn't pay. Heck, I should've
just gone for a mansion - maybe Ed McMahon's The government
now - both Democrats and Republicans - would be trying to "keep me
in my house." Awesome. Cut me a deal baby. What a
country! Welfare for idiots!
How about this: I'll pay my $2,300 share - the
amount it will cost every man woman and child - of this bailout to
some guy who lost his job to go to the couple who took out the
stupid f'ing mortgage and have him give them $2,300 worth of
beating. That'll fix the housing market real quick. And
heck, that'll end unemployment. There are lots of dumbasses to
beat.
I get it - the problem is I'm not irresponsible
enough. I only have some thousands in credit card debt.
That I get stuck to deal with. If only I would have made that
$10,000,000 in hedge fund debt, I would be getting a handout.
If only I made that $3,000,000 in home loan debt. I would be
getting readjusted terms, reduced principle. But I was too
damned responsible and didn't go enough into debt and only did it on
credit cards. Stupid me.
And it was grandma's mistake that she went bankrupt
due to medical expenses. Bad choice granny, you're on your
own. You don't get to eat.
But don't worry, Bush, Paulson and the GOP aren't
just going to make sure Wall Street's players stay in their
penthouse suites, but they are going to ensure they keep earning
their multi-million dollar salaries to boot. Heck, good people
are getting laid off or having pay cuts having done their jobs well
- unemployment is up to almost 8 percent in California - but the
Wall Streeters responsible, give them our money, and let them keep
making tons.
Call me crazy, but I say beat the dumbasses, and let
the penthouse burn. It's Darwinism. And after all the
rich people are no longer rich, and all the idiots who are in houses
they couldn't afford are out on their asses, guess what:
people like me who saved instead of taking out stupid loans will be
able to step into mansions, being the people with money as the
economy collapses for everyone else.
"Keep people in their houses." Christ, let's
keep drug dealers in their BMW's. Let's keep Saddam in Kuwait.
Let's keep George W. Bush in the White House. You know, anyone
who got something fraudulently, let's let them keep it, forever.
Don't want George Bush to stay in the White House? Well guess
f'ing what - I don't want John Smith to stay in my house up the
street.
Idiots.
